About the opportunity 

KPMG's Infrastructure Advisory Group (IAG) brings together more than 400 professionals who advise major public and private sector organisations on the strategy, investment, delivery and operation of infrastructure and asset-intensive businesses. As part of our growing InfraTech team, you will help clients improve performance, make better investment decisions and realise greater value from their assets through digital technologies, connected assets and data-driven insight. 

Working across sectors including real estate, transport, government, defence, energy, utilities, health and education, you will combine infrastructure expertise with digital, data and technology capabilities to solve complex client challenges. 

What you'll be doing 

• Lead complex client engagements spanning digital strategy, technology-enabled transformation, analytics and the implementation of systems, platforms and integrations. 

• Mobilise and lead multidisciplinary teams across infrastructure, real estate, asset management, technology, data and change. 

• Act as a trusted adviser to senior clients, translating strategic and operational challenges into clear priorities, investment cases and delivery roadmaps. 

• Take accountability for engagement scope, quality, commercial performance, governance, risk management and outcomes. 

• Lead implementation partner assignments from mobilisation and requirements definition through testing, adoption and benefits realisation. 

• Shape analytical delivery with data specialists to improve asset information and support evidence-based decision-making. 

• Build senior client relationships, identify opportunities and lead proposals, scoping and commercial discussions. 

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and support organisational change, capability building and technology adoption. 

• Coach and develop colleagues while fostering an inclusive, high-performing team environment. 

• Contribute to the growth of the InfraTech team through thought leadership, recruitment, proposition development and collaboration across KPMG networks. 

Skills, experience and knowledge you'll need 

• Strong track record of leading complex digital, technology or data transformation engagements from strategy through implementation and measurable outcomes. 

• Experience delivering systems, platforms or integration programmes as an adviser, client-side leader or implementation partner. 

• Ability to connect business, asset and user needs with technology, data, process and operating-model change. 

• Strong consulting and client leadership skills, including senior stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and production of high-quality deliverables. 

• Demonstrable experience of building trusted client relationships, winning new business and managing commercial performance, quality and risk. 

• Experience in infrastructure or asset-intensive sectors; knowledge of real estate management, facilities management, digital estates, smart buildings, analytics, digital twins or connected assets would be advantageous. 

• Numerate degree or equivalent professional experience.
