The Team

Powered Enterprise is KPMG’s world-class accelerated Enterprise Business Transformation approach for cloud-based solutions driven by a pre-defined back-office function based on leading practices and KPMG’s six-layer Target Operating Model. The target operating model comprises of service delivery model, people, process, technology, data & insight and governance & controls. This solution combines the breadth and scale of KPMG’s leading practice, capabilities and insight into what makes a world class corporate services function with the latest in ERP technology provided by the leading SaaS ERP vendors such as Oracle.

The Powered Connected Technology team is a community of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver SaaS ERP based transformation programmes based on KPMG Powered Enterprise. The team use their functional knowledge and experience (e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement), coupled with their expertise in Oracle ERP, to lead and deliver client programmes, to support pre-sales activities and to develop improvement and extensions to the Powered Enterprise model. KPMG are growing their Powered Connected Technology team to meet an ever-increasing demand for our market leading services and are seeking technology management consultants with relevant expertise and experience.

 

The role:

• Leading discussions with C-level client executives to help shape their business transformation agenda enabled by Oracle ERP

• Being involved in moulding, leading and supporting the delivery of large and complex Oracle ERP enabled business transformation programmes, such as System Integrations and Data Migrations.

• Supporting and leading business development activities including contributing to and presenting proposals/ bids for future work

• Undertaking quality reviews of in-flight programmes to ensure delivery on track to time, cost, quality, budget and benefits

• Maintaining an in depth understanding of current Cloud technology industry trends

• Supporting service development through ownership and management of our programme and project management tools and techniques

• Actively contributing to the global people agenda including people management and mentoring.

 

We are looking for you to be a passionate and motivated individual who has strong consulting skills and is able to work with senior level executives to deliver large multi-year business transformations enabled by Oracle ERP technologies. Typically we are looking for individuals with the following backgrounds:

 

  • Demonstrable Oracle ERP programme delivery experience across FTSE 250 firms.
  • Experience of a number of full lifecycle ERP deployments (typically 3+) in a leading role, for example as Technical Lead or Architect.
  • Experience in delivering Technical programmes including System Integrations and Data Migrations

Essential
• Excellent consulting, stakeholder management and communication skills to allow you to engage and guide senior client executives.

• Solid understanding of programme & project management techniques / tools and how these can be applied to help deliver success for our clients.

• Solid understanding of business drivers that lead to Oracle ERP enabled business change and transformation programmes.

• Comprehensive understanding of the Oracle technology estate including ERP, OCI and Data technologies.

• Experienced in leading or owning parts of the bid process e.g. owning responses to the technical solutions.

 

 

Desirable
• Experience of being involved in practice development activities including the design and development of thought leadership papers.

• Entrepreneurial spirit - experience of being involved in and leading proposals and bid development.

• Project management qualification

• Oracle Cloud certifications e.g. OCI, OIC, OAC, etc

 

Candidates must be eligible, able to gain and retain National Security Vetting at the level of Security Check (SC).
