We are seeking an experienced AI and Data Analytics Lead to join our team. This role will be pivotal in driving our expansion in to the Middle East market, working closely with clients to design, implement and manage Analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), with proven experience in data management and governance, excellent client facing skills gained within the ENR sector, especially Oil & Gas. Candidates will also need to be able to spend up to 50% of their time in the region.

 

What will you be doing?

 

  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts and provide technical expertise during client engagements.
  • Design and architect Oracle Analytics Cloud solutions that meet client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Lead the delivery of Oracle Analytics Cloud projects, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the Middle East, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Produce thought leadership content, including whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, to establish KPMG as a leader in the Oracle Analytics space.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Analytics developments and trends to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.
  • Lead the design and development of ETL and data integration routines using Oracle Integration Cloud, Informatica, ODI, and Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Develop custom solutions by leveraging assets and services from the global marketplace.
  • Ensure adherence to appropriate change management and governance practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis for Oracle Analytics Cloud issues and develop permanent code fixes, tuning, and configurations.
  • Participate in all phases of the Systems Development Lifecycle including planning, requirements determination, current state analysis, solution design, estimating, construction, testing, training, implementing, and ongoing support and improvement.

 

What will you need to do it?

 

  • Extensive experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing Oracle Analytics Cloud solutions in a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of data integration, data quality, data management, and data governance principles.
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud data modeling, dashboard, and report activities.
  • Experience leading ETL teams and shaping the overall ETL architecture using Oracle Integration Cloud, Informatica, ODI, and Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to the Middle East.

Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:

 

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience working in the Middle Eastern market.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud.
  • Certification in Oracle products.
  • DAMA (Data Management Association) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Dimensional Data Modelling using tools like ERWIN or ERStudio.
